Crypto Resources & Tools

The tools and resources I actually use (no affiliate links)

📊 Trading & Analysis Tools

TradingView

Best charting platform. I use the Pro plan for multiple charts and alerts. The mobile app is great for checking charts on the go.

CoinGecko

My go-to for market data, portfolio tracking, and discovering new projects. Better than CoinMarketCap in my opinion.

DeFiPulse

Essential for tracking DeFi protocols, TVL, and yields. Helps me find new opportunities and avoid dead projects.

Glassnode

On-chain analytics for Bitcoin and Ethereum. The free tier gives you enough data to make informed decisions.

Messari

Great for fundamental analysis and research reports. Their token profiles are comprehensive and unbiased.

DeBank

Portfolio tracker for DeFi positions across multiple chains. Shows your real yield and impermanent loss.

💰 Exchanges I Use

Coinbase Pro (Advanced Trade)

My main fiat on-ramp. Higher fees but most reliable for large amounts. Good for DCA with their recurring buy feature.

✅ Pros: Regulated, insured, easy ACH transfers
❌ Cons: High fees, limited altcoins

Kraken

Lower fees than Coinbase, good for staking ETH. Their customer service is actually responsive when you need help.

✅ Pros: Lower fees, good staking options, responsive support
❌ Cons: UI could be better, fewer trading pairs

Uniswap

For DeFi and new tokens. I only use it for small amounts due to gas fees. Always check for rug pulls before swapping.

✅ Pros: Decentralized, access to new tokens
❌ Cons: High gas fees, smart contract risks

🔐 Security & Storage

Ledger Nano X

My main cold storage. Yes, they had that data breach, but the hardware is still secure. I store 80% of my crypto here.

MetaMask

For DeFi interactions. I keep minimal amounts here and always revoke approvals after transactions. Use revoke.cash regularly.

1Password

For storing seed phrases and exchange passwords. Never store crypto stuff in browser password managers or cloud notes.
