I bought my first Bitcoin in December 2017 at $19,000. Yeah, right at the top. Lost 80% of my investment in the next year. Most people would have quit, but something about crypto just clicked with me.

Spent 2018-2019 learning everything I could. Read whitepapers, joined communities, made small trades. Slowly started to understand the technology and the market cycles.

Made some good money in the 2020-2021 bull run. Then lost a huge chunk in the Terra Luna collapse (you can read about that disaster in my featured post). That was my biggest lesson in risk management.

Now I'm more careful, more diversified, and definitely more humble. Still bullish on crypto long-term, but I've learned that this space can humble you real quick.

Crypto Twitter is full of people showing off their gains and acting like geniuses. YouTube is full of clickbait thumbnails promising 100x returns. Nobody talks about the real stuff - the losses, the mistakes, the sleepless nights.

I wanted to create something different. A place where I could share my actual experiences - both good and bad. No affiliate links, no paid promotions, no get-rich-quick schemes.

Just honest stories about what it's really like to be in crypto for the long haul.

I'm not a financial advisor. I don't have any fancy certifications or work at a hedge fund. I'm just a software developer who got interested in crypto and has been learning through trial and error (mostly error) for 7 years.

I'm not trying to sell you anything. No courses, no signals, no premium Discord. This blog is just me sharing my experiences because I wish someone had shared theirs with me when I started.
